In its endeavour to empower women and girls in distress, Abalashrama has embarked to establish a well-equipped Vocational Training Centre – Swavalambana, with a view to provide job opportunities and make them self -sufficient Multi -Skill Development Centre has training programs in • Fashion Technology ( Six months Course Certified Course) • Health & Beauty Care (Six months Course Certified Course) • Computer Skills – Duration varies according to courses chosen by the trainees. These courses are entirely FREE. Course materials are also provided by Ashrama. These courses open to under privileged girls and women from out side the Ashrama apart from its residents. Certificates are provided on successful completion of the course Job placement assistance wherever is possible. All the training are updated according to the demands of the job market. Tailoring trainees were given free sewing machines in special cases.
