In its mission to empower women and girls in distress, Abalashrama has established a well-equipped Vocational Training Centre called Swavalambana. This initiative aims to provide job opportunities and enable self-sufficiency.
The Multi-Skill Development Centre offers free training programs in:
Fashion Technology (Six-month Certified Course)
Health & Beauty Care (Six-month Certified Course)
Computer Skills (Duration varies based on chosen courses)
These courses are entirely free, and course materials are provided by the Ashrama. Certificates are awarded upon successful completion, and job placement assistance is offered whenever possible.
The training programs are open to underprivileged girls and women, including those outside the Ashrama. Training is regularly updated to meet job market demands. In special cases, tailoring trainees receive free sewing machines to support their livelihoods.
